I was there. It was cold.MSU was not without talent; Flozell Adams, Mucin Muhammed, and Tony Banks all played at the next level, along with a couple more. The infamous Saban turtleneck made it's first appearance in Louisiana. Eddie Kennison ran back a punt or KO, don't remember which.

My son went to Michigan State Football camp the next spring and Nick was not too happy when all he had to wear was LSU attire (really was all we owned). Still have a priceless picture of him with Nick. Nick insisted that he put on a camp T-shirt prior to the pic.

Best of the bunch for MSU was Derrick Mason, who still plays pro. Both Kennison and Mason ran KO back for td's. Seems like they were back to back runs.
