Bama coming after one of Wing's kicks

I really think Saban will come after at least one of his kicks, and my guess is, it will happen when we have the ball near midfield.
They know the weapon Wing can be, and they often have a read and react kick where Wing has the "go" option as against UF. A slight pause with a little bit of pressure and it could be a field position and maybe game changer.
I hope that LSU plays conservative in the kicking game because we have an absolute advantage there and really no need to take any risks, but I've just got a funny feeling Bama will try make up for an obvious disadvantage in an unexpected area.

Keep your funny feelings to yourself

That dude can boom it with a ONE STEP kick.
It would be very difficult to ever block one of his punts.

They might as well try to block the kick mainly b/c there will be zero return yards.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. We'll be ready hopefully.

I have felt this ever since the first meeting. Wing at times has a calculated motion. And we all know Saban knows plenty about blocked punts in title games in Nawlins, with his ridiculous "Punt Ugly" formation that gave Oklahoma one of it's two gift TDs..and put them in the ball game when absolutely totally stifled.
Much like Stoops challenged team in 2003, I expect the same desperate tactical focus by Saban/Bama in this game, in terms of coming after Punts.

I'm sure our O-line will just let them waltz right to Wing

I agree with the OP. Wing is a tremendous weapon for us, and Saban's too smart not to try to plan to make the kicking game less powerful.

Wing has a hell of an arm too

I can see N$ sending someone to take Wings knee out.

Good time for Wing to be a Qb. It would be funny if he passed over the blitz.
