I also have some other really old 12 gauges. It's a crying shame. They're all rusted out but Id love to get them restored. Ones a single-shot lever action crack barrel and the other is a bolt action with a clip, which I've never seen. Cool to have in the collection.

Sometimes they'll tell you not to. Friend of mine brought in a belgium made sweet 16 to get the wood redone. Gunsmith wouldn't touch it, said it was worth too much original

Get you a brownells catalog and a Midway Usa and restore them yourself get a few books supplies and you can do it your self its allot of fun too. Now on the savage just replace o rings springs & firing pin see if that works and if it doesn't work then take it to a gunsmith. Guns r fun to tinker with
