Most famous pro star you played against or were associated with...

My list isn't great but here goes...
played basketball against Chris Duhon and Torris Bright in high school. I graduated from Northshore in 1999, Torris was 1999 from Slidell, and Chris was 2000 from Salmen.
played baseball against Mike Fontenot in high school. Mike was 1999 from Salmen.
Also, coached Matt Forte in AAU basketball when he was 14. That kid could shoot the 3!!!

I've never been much of an athlete, but...
I went to high school with DJ Augustin, and I met Trent Dilfer once.
Also, I have Gale Sayers', Tony Hawk's and Garrett Hartley's autographs.

Played against: Joe Delaney
Played with: Several LSU players one of whom went on to the NFL for several years. Won't say his name because that would reveal my home town and I'd rather be anonymous.

Went to the same high school as him for a year. He was a freshman and had something like 12 picks for the football team even though he played 3/4 of the games with a broken hand. Started at PG that year for the basketball team as well. I remember in the Sectional Championship we played against Greg Oden's alma matter, Lawrence North. Something like 6 of their played were 6'5 or taller and went on t o play for major Div 1 schools. We were out matched to say the least. But Harris played an amazing game and kept it close.

Played against Joe McKnight through all my playground years in KennaBrah. He wasn't any good until around age 11....then he just passed everyone up in athletic ability and ran all over us.
I didn't know it at the time, but I guess one of my biggest sports accomplishments was making a lucky arse open field tackle on him to seal the game. If I didn't make the tackle he would have scored and won the game. It was just playground ball, but because he is in the NFL now I always think back about that tackle.

I was about to get dunked on by Stromile Swift. He was on a break away and I was the only one back. I stood there for a second like I was going to take a charge or something and then I just got out of the way.
