Maybe so, but I know this. Pressured deer are afraid of humans, nonpressured deer aren't. They learn.
Young deer aren't afraid of scent, usually. Old deer are.
Deer that see bonhunters on the reg, usually aren't scared of them. Makes me think they aren't born afraid of humans, but rather learn to be.

no need to clean during season. good idea to wipe down if it gets wet. clean after the season and be sure to use a copper solvent to remove copper fouling in barrel. check out cleaning videos from Midway USA on youtube.
