Couldn't agree more. Protection breaks down, there's Sam waiting to pounce, which is why he needs to come back and work on a Freeney type move.

I don't get the people saying Sam, as a high 2nd at worst, would be stupid to leave. You are stupid to say that. With the rookie pay scale in place, I don't see him making up enough in salary to justify not making millions a year earlier.
It's like the people saying the NBA players were willing to give up a year of salary for an extra 2%. You're not going to give away 20% in order to make 5% more.
