it think UL could make some progress and sustain it. Tulane had some success in the 90's but failed, and i think La Tech has seen its time and it has passed.

Louisiana is THE high school football state (per capita) and i think it can feed 2 programs. I think Lafayette has the population base to eventually garner attendance, and enough money in the community to fund the rise to prominence. and God knows that there are enough die hard cajun fans and alums in the area.

and look, im an LSU guy, i went to school there during the Saban years. i just think that louisiana can be a two football program state and out of all the other schools in the state, currently UL has the best chance to join them.

As long as morons keep pushing the UL thing, the ULL fans are going to get shat on.

I'd like for ULL to do well. I hope they win and I picked them to beat the spread in my bowl pool.

Instead of making shite up, however, they should be proud of who they are and more people won't give them shite.
