How long can we realistically keep this current coaching staff intact?

Les and Chavis... Everyone else is likely to be moving on.

It's not like we have a bunch of young up and comers on the coaching staff that will be getting head coaching gigs soon. The staff is loaded with well-experienced coaches that have been around and just flat out know how to coach football. Most have been given the shot at a head coaching gig before but their careers have led them here, and will stay as long as they are getting paid fairly and we are winning.

Miles could be here another 10+ years.

Chief, unless he gets more money to be a DC at another school or in the NFL, isn't going anywhere. He doesn't want to be a head coach.

Under normal circumstances, Krags would have been out of here after this year, but I hear that he'll be looking to stay here as long as his health allows him to. The improvement in the offense and QB play is thanks in large part to him.

The OC may be moving on at some point (maybe even this year). But I see him being here at least one more year.

The combination of Miles + Chief + Krags has the potential to be dynasty-like.

We need Wilson. He's the avenue to the river parishes talent that has become the backbone of this team. We need to offer him the house if he asks for it, at least for a few more years.

I think as a whole LSU has one of the best coaching staffs ever this year. I've always felt that Miles was the type of coach that let the position coaches do their jobs and our strengths would be dependent upon those position coaches. Coach Cooper and Chavis as a defensive Combo are as good as it gets. I would hope that we do what ever is possible to keep them both, although I'd guess that Cooper will take a DC job or maybe even a HC job somewhere. Wilson has been not only incredible with our recruiting, but honestly has done a really good job with our backs as well. He might be gone sooner then we think, I really hope he stays though. Krags has been great and I think he will stay like I think Chavis will.

Les chavis are here to stay. Maybe krags bc he's older. If he leaves it's bc of medical reasons. I think and hope moffitt is here to stay. I think Wilson may leave.
