Just want to give an update on this place. My wife and I checked it out tonight. I thought the food was really good. When I say really good, I'm not saying it is high end italian food but for what it is, I enjoyed it.
Wife went safe and had the shrimp alfredo. I didn't try so I can't comment but she said it was good.
I had the seafood diavolo and thought it was great. Absolutely loaded with lump crab, crawfish, and shrimp and I found the sauce to be very good as well with just the right spice to it.
Not that one really has anything to do with the other but the service is 100 times better than the restaurant that was there before Italian Bowl, La Mestiza. You could tell our waitress was very new and nervous but really wanted to do a good job and I thought she did. Very attentive but not over the top and bothersome.
I know this isn't a great review as I'm not really good at this stuff but just thought I would let you guys know that it is worth going to imo. Hope they make it.

Did they have any unique menu items? Sounds like the food you ordered was pretty traditional.
How are the prices?
What about the alcoholic beverages?

Did you try this dish at Maggio's before? If so how would it compare? I miss Joey and his cooking.
