I'm guessing you all think we came with an offensive explosion against Oregone, MSU, Kentucky, etc

You just have to laugh at some of the agenda driven BS posted here.

We have played the #3 and #12 ranked teams in the nation in the last 2 games and we are scoring 4 pts less in the 1st half than what we have averaged for the season...big deal.

Not to mention, we have averaged 42 pts a game against those teams. Some just can't seem to be happy unless they can find something to bitch bout.

Because everyone of our starters are exceptional but our Quarterbacks are mediocer at best.

The question was not to bitch....it just seems this team is too talented to be shoved around by anybody. We just didn't seem to be in those games until TM took the game on his shoulders and woke the team up. Why does this happen? Just a question!

Really??!

You don't know his name? You should.

He stole the football and Bama's pride in their house on November 5th.

Although, I guess if I were a Bama fan, I'd repress that memory too.

I seem to remember Jefferson not being a problem in either Western Kentucky OR Arkansas. In fact Jefferson was pretty good against Arkansas

Oh not to mention he did complete a first down play action pass. It ended up being LSUs longest play from the line of scrimmage on the season.

So uh....yeah.

Bring up Georgia all you want, but don't ignore Jefferson's success in the previous games.

Play wasn't legit.

Refs hate us.
SEC hates us
Verne and Gary hate us
God hates us

Sound familiar?

I guess I am a racist who is anti anti slow Texas QBs because they both make me nauseated most of the time. You QB gurus are almost as delusional as the Bamtard fans, neither of these guys or worth working up a descent argument. If both were white or both black they would be dismissed for what they are, below average game managers. We will win with Defense a solid running game and stellar special teams. With all this extra time and negative energy you have you should be questioning why Ware and Ford are getting the early nod over Hilliard and Blue. That’s an argument that’s worth getting lathered up over.

The team is scoring 38 pts a game for the season, 44 pts a game after Bama, 41.5 pts a game in our last 2 games, 500 pts for the season, allowing 137 pts for the yr, and we are 13-0.

How can that be seen as being shoved around???

Once again...it's not about the entire game but a pattern the last two games of having to have TM make an outstanding play BEFORE the team starts playing like they are capable! Most coaches say they want a full 60 minutes of effort....do they not?

I think its just because our offense is only good after the defense wears the other team down to shreds and puts up some TM7 momentum changes...

As has been explained aready, lots of examples of LSU not playing like they capable in many games this season at times. Nothing new with that or just starting in last 2 games.

Personally, I'm happy with a 13 game winning effort, but that's just me.

What concerned me is that Miles refused to pull the trigger on him and put Lee in at any point in the first half. Because there is no longer a rotation between the two, you know that he will only pull JJ if he has lost confidence in him, and if 18 yards and no first downs in the first half is not a cause to lose confidence, I don't know what is.

This is what concerns me the most. Had it been Lee that was struggling, Miles would've pulled the plug on him after the first couple of series. We were a much more balanced team when both JJ and Lee were playing.

I'll try a new angle here.......offensive play calling. We have beaten teams all year using some of the most elementary plays in the book. Its like we just keep beating our heads against a brick wall and slowly but surely, the wall gives way in the second half. I promise you that nobody is enjoying this season more than myself, and I have very little to be upset about, but I would really like to see more offensive ingenuity and utilization of our talent next year. Oh yea, we'll actually have a competent QB as well.

Definitely Les' decision but, 2INTs in 7 attempts may bite him in the arse vs Bama!
FIFY.
How many gifts do you let him throw? They got 50% of their points off JL's picks.
He's had an abysmal rating and thrown 7 ints in about 50 attempts vs them.
History proves he's not mentally or physically up to the task Bama presents, but I like Lee vs lesser defenses.
I hope I get to see him run another play, the V formation on 1-9-12.

Sounds like damn good football. You may PREFER a different style, i.e. lights out offense with decent defense, however that is not THIS LSU team nor is it THIS Bama team. You could be a Big 12 fan and enjoy games more.

I really think it is the only bowl game thats played where they lay it all out there regardless of potential injury and future NFL earnings.

Bowls like the Tidefans.com has banned LSU tigers from posting bowl...well they just having a scrimmage game. Oh wait thats not a bowl, but I would take it over the South Los Angeles credit union bowl or whatever that really weird one was a few years ago lol.
