Basically just said that he believes the deal is off and that it's news to him that if the deal is sweetened a little bit for the Hornets that it could be back on.

Kevin McHale is not an analyst. He is the head coach of the Houston Rockets. How involved is he in the trade negotiations ? Who knows. But, he basically in his mind there's nothing more to it.
