I am pretty sure Les Miles said we didn't win anything Nov. 5th. We did however advance to the SEC championship because of it and that is what Les Miles was talking about.
We won the SEC championship against Georgia so the Nov. 5th game didn't win us anything but we did win the SEC because of it and Alabama didn't because of it.
Also we are in the NC game in part because of that win. Those are the facts.

All of that had great meaning and significance until the moment when the CFB powers that be put Bama in the big game for a re-do. LSU has to beat Bama twice in order to maintain the significance of what they won. Bama only has to beat LSU once in order to win all of the marbles and erase what LSU accomplished.
