I use hardline when I'm running and gunnin on maps like arkaden. I usually go UAV, care package, predator. My favorite is p90 with silencer, machine pistol secondary, semtex, flash, sleight of hand pro, hardline pro, and stalker pro. You are just moving too fast with a powerful weapon for anyone to frick with you.
About recon pro, yeah its 120 enemies targeted, but make a class with any AR with a noobtube, concussion grenades, frag, and a grenade launcher secondary, and anytime you spawn just aim where you think enemies are and rack up a few every life. It took me only about 8 games of ground war to get recon pro, its really not that bad.
