It could happen, but that is so far below average that they must be doing a cheap job, if you see what I'm saying. When it comes to a mount, if I'm proud enough of my deer to mount it, and I will be proud of it if I mount it, I will pay top dollar to make sure it is done by a reputable taxidermist. Between 4 or 5 is not that bad to have something on your wall for the rest of your life that you will be proud of, especially if it's done right. He does an ok job, we have to mount all bucks taken from that property so it can get expensive mounting one a year @ $450. I don't hang them in my house so it really doesn't matter.
