The Colts would win by at least 4 touchdowns.

Perhaps in the first half alone.

BULL SHITE

A team led by Curtis Painter is NOT going to put up 4 touchdowns on LSU. PERIOD.

It would be close.

I think the defense would be competitive, but the offense wouldn't score.

I just like the fact that someone thought enough of LSU to say that....hahaha

We aren't going to play a pro team anyway.

The schemes in the NFL are way to much for a college team to handle.

This means nothing to the other side if they aren't running the scheme. Its timing....two step drop throw before guy makes cut type shite. There is an old saying called KISS. You know what it means by chance?

Just remember everyone said FLA type offense would NEVER WORK IN PROS.....well guess what.

The real question is this:
How many turnovers would Honey Badger cause?

I think some of you guys are putting NFL teams on a pedestal. Those guys are good, no doubt, but they aren't going to dominate like the '92 USA Dream Team in basketball.

When you get to really high levels, the talent gap is very shrunken.

The absolute best college team against the absolute worst pro team isn't going to be a huge gap in talent.

The Colts would be a little more talented, and a little more experienced, but not to the astronomical levels some of you guys think.

Think about it... high school seniors go and play in college against people 5 years older than they are and can be competitive... that includes all sports. Then when they are seniors in college, they can go play in the pros and be competitive right out of college.

If that kid right out of high school can compete with other college athletes who are on the brink of going into the NFL, then you KNOW the talent gap is relatively small at that point. The difference is being more fine-tuned, more experienced, and probably bigger and stronger. But those dudes can still compete.

I mean, look at all the guys who have gone right out of high school to the NBA...

Yeah clearly NFL rookies all suck too much to have immediate impacts in the NFL.

That cam newton guy isn't doing much, andy dalton blows.. von miller's horrible too.

Seriously you people are so quick to spout the same routine bullshite. I'm not saying we would win, but it would be a lot closer than you would think if we played the colts this year.

They would kill us. On a college team, some of the players might play in the NFL, some may be good enough. On the NFL team, they are all good enough, every player on that NFL team was the few players on the college team... It like saying a High School State Champion Football team could play with LSU, it aint happening..

It's funny that some posters actually think that other posters think LSU could beat a bad NFL team. Nobody thinks that. It's one of those things that's funny to talk about like if Mike Ditka played the Giants by himself.

The first all-star team to win was the 1937 squad, coached by Gus Dorais, which won on a 47-yard touchdown pass from future Hall of Famer Sammy Baugh to Gaynell Tinsley.

Some of those pro-college games were somewhat competitive and those were against Superbowl champs. Indy is pretty inept. I don't think LSU would win but I don't think Indy could score what they wanted to. Indy 35-14

College won a bunch of those in the first half of last century. Also beat the 63 packers but that was the last win. I think lsu today would demolish those packers. But the nfl is different today.

Your taking the exceptions and making it the rule. Fact is only few can step right in and compete and make a difference. To take a whole college team and put them in that situation, they would be (as a team) outclassed and out matched. There may be a few that could compete, but not as a whole team, of which it would take to compete.

I dunno, you let me build a team from the entire SEC and I think they could beat the Colts.

I can't think of an sec qb who could compete against Indy. One of the better dt's in recent lsu history is a 2nd stringer at the moment.
