Is Gus Malzahn still considered a great hire?

IMO, he will be a coach that will always need good coordinators around him to be successful.

Auburn fans will soon realize how amazing Cam Newton and Fairly truly were. Because Chiz isn't a good HC and he sure as hell was living off that Newton talent. Same thing with Mal. Mediocre coach is mediocre until someone that talented can make anyone look competent.

Coaches should always leave when a singular star leaves. This applies to Sumlin this year. Harbaugh made the right move last year.
