Not true. I'd like to play someone different. I'd like to plat someone easier. I'd like to play the best. And I'd like to - no, I'd love to - beat Bama again! In short, I'm ambivalent.

its a reasonable evaluation to say that Bama is good enough to beat LSU if things break right for them.

it was a close game decided by several events, all but one of which broke for LSU.

one big thing broke for Bama. the fumble by Trent when he was hit by Reid bounced harmlessly out of bounds instead of remaining on the field of play for the LSU OLB to snatch and take to the house.
second, the late hit on Jarrett Lee was ignored. THat would have kept that drive alive.

Basically it was an even game.
So of course LSU fans would rather play someone easier.

Why play a hard game when you can thrash Okie Lite or Va Tech.
I hope that only one of them wins today so the other gets all the votes. Bama can play Houston.
