I've grown to love the double gun. Just something special about it. I am kind of a cheapskate though, so the high dollar guns don't make my list.

I shoot a Remington SPR310 now, but I have been eyeing the CZ Bobwhite for some time now.

The swing of a well balanced sxs or o/u is like a wand. The pumps and autos just don't have the same feel to me...

I have a cheap o/u (Fausti that I got new for $225). It is a 20 gauge with 26" barrels that I can cut the stock. I know that the CZ would have better handling and if I have it cut I will lose my rainy day gun. Not to mention we just had a little girl that will hopefully also head to the woods with daddy. A new gun will get plenty of use so I'm not concerned with a dedicated gun getting only a couple of years of use. I still have a little time to decide my oldest is six this month and will be in the woods with me this year but without a gun…
