In all honesty, does anybody aside from LSU fans and OSU fans want to see LSU-OSU? It would be a butt-kicking and OSU has zero national appeal. Teams that i think would give LSU a better game (besides Bama): Stanford, Wisconsin, Oregon, USC, Oklahoma.

I'd bet more people want to see that than want to see LSU vs. Alabama again.

We don't know that for sure, and the appeal of a high-powered offense vs. a monster defense, plus the "Miles Bowl" aspect, makes it at least as attractive as a rematch of a game everybody already saw a month ago.
