UFC on FOX 2-Rashad Evans vs Phil Davis

This looks to be the main event. So much for Rashad waiting around for Jon Jones. Rumored card is below:

Maybe not all but Dana said they would show more than one fight the next time.

Sonnen and Evans are name fighters. They'll be on the TV card for sure. Beyond that, I don't know. I think the FOX specials are supposed to be 2 hours so 4 fights is about right for a TV card. The first UFC on FOX was a one-off TV card to introduce network viewers to MMA.

the 1 fight Cain/JDS "card" wasn't a part of the UFC/Fox deal. The original contract starts in 2012, but the two sides came together to put on a special fight before the actual contract starts.....an appetizer if you will. I don't know what the terms of that 1 fight card were (even though there were actually other fights on that card, just not shown on Fox)....but it was agreed upon after the Fox/UFC contract had already been finalized.
as for the UFC on Fox 2 (first actual card), is the ME (PD/RE) a 5 round fight with the Sonnen/Munoz fight being a 3 rounder? at least that's what I'm assuming. sucks that both #1 title contender fights can't be 5 rounds.....
