Jimmy probably went on to raise a perfect family and get a well paying job.

Nah. Jimmy parlayed a successful high school football career into a local life insurance salesmen gig.

Close...but not in my mind. Jimmy couldn't catch Kevin, so he gets fired. His dad, who is still pissed about his wife leaving him to go to New York and be with the doves (you got it, the lady from HA2) is ultimately a drunk now. Jimmy tells his dad about his firing, his dad takes out his anger on Jimmy for being slow when he is supposed to be the captain of the football team, Jimmy then is not able to play football that year, he gets passed over in recruiting, never made it to college, and guess what...he went on to be a mopboy at the other, newer grocery store in his hometown. This new store lead to the other closing it's doors, selling for cheap, being bought by Jimmy, and having a photo of Kevin put up by the register so that workers would call the police should he re-enter the store.

Another thing that always bugged me was that Kevin not only gets in trouble in both movies for forgetting one tidbit (not cleaning Buzz's room even after he practically remodeled the whole damn house and then running up a room service bill), but he never responded to anyone's fury with an explanation of the fun, adventurous hell he had gone through. If I had been left at home to fend off two burglars and then gotten in trouble for messing up a room...I might've let the stories slide so that my mom didn't have a heart attack or slip into a guilty depression. But, if it happened again! Heck no. I'd have called newspapers, Larry King, Oprah, and finally...OCS.
