They cannot outbid Bama, ultimately. However, they will be desperate to protect the $50 million a year income stream, so they may offer about the most control a coach can have at an NCAA program. That's probably not going to do it, but it's food for thought.

Texas is the only school that can win a bidding war with Bama, IMO.
