It's too round, busy, and indiscernable. From even a moderate distance it looks like somebody squashed a beetle or something.

I can tell your age.
That first one is from the 70's-90's and is the most badass AND unique LSU logo that ever was.
That said I have seen a rendering of a logo that looks as modern as toonces but somebody made it with the Tiger face looking straight at you and with a much more aggressive face. It was badass but I dont know where to find it.

And I see your pic has you with an old logo head? hmmm, must not dislike it that much.
The new logo / tiger heads are for white trash. Sorry for saying that around those who have baby ears.
