LSU public relations and media personel think it was the one best logo designs ever because it has genertated the most money over any previous logo.

Bc the idiots released it around 2003... Our most successful season since '58.

They can't put 2 &. 2 together?

Thats because it was the logo during two national championship wins and a huge amount of success. People aren't buying LSU gear for the damn toonces, they buy it b/c LSU is relevant again, not just in football.

It coming around the same time we started winning consistently had nothing to do with it?

The massive increase in sales had nothing to do with the success of the program.

PR people are ALWAYS full of shite.

I would suspect that this has happened because we have emerged as a top CFB program during the toonces reign.

Imagine how much more money we would have made during the same time frame if the logo wasn't shitty.

Another logo could have generated more money because I won't buy an item that has the God Forsaken Toonces on it. Give me a decent Tiger Head or just a plain LSU lettering on the same item and I buy it. I don't own or display anything with the Toonces logo.

If they are truly stupid enough to attribute the money generated to that idiotic logo, then I fear for the future of our PR department. The money generated during the time they've used this logo is purely due to the success we've had in football during that time. It has nothing to do with the logo. Please tell me that no one in the LSU PR department is stupid enough not to realize that. Please.

It's just happened to come around when LSU got successful. Of course all the bandwagon fans were buying up everything they sold in that time. It baffles me that the school didn't realize this. They just look at the sales vs the 90's and thought "this is a great logo!".

It is dying down bc so many people have expressed their Distain and more people are buying other shite.
