re: Question for you LA hunters.. Why do so many of yall deer hunt in MS?

I bought my LA license yesterday. License, big game, duck, and a WMA permit all ran me about $50. Compared to $400 I spent on a license to hunt in MS, and that's just big game and a primitive arms permit.

We hunt in MS because we just so happened to find a lease up there that was 2 hours from the house. The hunting near the Mississippi River in either state, and it's much easier once you move north a little and get out of the swamp. Honestly though, I'd be willing to pay a little more and drive further for a lease in LA to save on the $400 yearly arse raping.
