JJ QB rating

I know he has only played 4-5 games but I think its fair now to look at the numbers. His 163.5 is higher then Weeden's and puts him just outside the top 5 nationally (if he had enough attempts) Factor in what he adds rushing and his 5:1 TD/INT ratio and you have an excellent QB to lead us to the BCS championship!

he's thrown 70 passes. chill the hell out.

he's 3-0 and beat the #2 and #3 teams. make me tough guy

you're right. He should be at the Heisman ceremony. How dare I question a ranter.

I really hope you're not delusional enough to believe that JJ "beat" the 2 and 3 teams...how many touchdown drives did he lead against Bama? He has definitely improved, but let's not get too hasty here...

Not so fast my friend! Yes, he has played better than I thought he could, but we have 2 below average QBs IMO.

calm down there. he's about what many of us thought he could be if some things came together - adequate.

Come on man, the TEAM beat the #2 and #3 teams.

What was I thinking trying to compliment our starting QB and point out how well he's playing? Almost forgot this place was full of fuking morons who would prefer their QB was awful so they can be right. You guys are right. I forgot the old adage, number don't lie... unless you don't like what they say

Bull shite. JJ has played above average this year, I would grade him a B. Examples of your disapproval?

Well lee did play almost a half against #2 and he beat #3 oregon while jj was suspended so I guess that makes them even

OK, got me! I'll give you average and no more. Come on man, do you really think we have a good QB on this team? We don't need one thankfully.

Disagree. Both of our qbs are above average to good and would start at many schools in BCS conferences.

Both QB's have, but neither have been the difference between a win or loss.
They are average QB's who have been incorporated in the offense, but don't carry it.

Agreed. This team has never been about the QB play. I do think that both have exceeded expectations though. Crowton made them look worse than they actually are.

Bama says otherwise. And JJ will most likely be a main factor we beat Bama again. Regardless of competition and excuses, how can anybody argue that JJ has played above average this year?

Passer rating (also known as passing efficiency) is a measure of the performance of a quarterback
I acknowleged that his playtime was limited and he hadn't thrown enough passes to actually rank nationally. Your response was that he hadn't thrown enough balls.

It's a waste of time to have this discussion with people who suffer processing disorders. The Bama game wasn't won by a QB. Both QB's have been efficient when needed and haven't cost the team any games.
