Justice League FTW, Avengers Crap?

I'm having a feeling that Avengers will turn out to be crap when its made, boring, and dull. Most of the heroes in the Avengers had pretty shitty movies. I'm not sure if anyone will agree with me but think about it.
Avengers;
Thor
Captain America
Iron Man
The Hulk(Edward Norton was replaced)
Hawkeye
It appears the Avengers are gearing up to be pretty damn boring movie.
Justice League:
The Batman(Christian Bale hopefully still being Batman after Nolan's TDKR)
Green Lantern(Hopefully they allow a Black Green Lantern to play in the Justice League movie instead of Ryan Renolds)
Superman
The Flash
Martian
Wonder Woman
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
I know its a bit early but when I saw the movies that were made for the Avengers and actor lineup it almost appeared that the movie itself might just be shite.

Because the Black Lantern is a lot better than the White One. (Not Trying to be racist, but its just fact.

Dunno about fact, but I'd agree with you. I think the green lantern movie would have been much better with John Stewart as the green lantern and having someone like Common play him.

He may be more athletic, but the white one has a better motor and is much more of a cerebral hero.

Lulz. John's run with Hal Jordan is Green Lantern's peak.

So u are going on past movies? So the superman with Kevin spacey and the green lantern were absolute crap and other than Batman your argument holds no water. You really want to go here? IMHO all of the movies that have been made in connection to the avengers have been far superior to any DC comic movie with the exception of two batman movies. You'd be hardpressed to find anyone who disagrees.

This is turning into a JJ vs Lee thread.

Most of the Justice League movies haven't hit theaters just yet, and if we go off the comic, DC owns still. Batman was good, I can bet that the others will turn out to be hits as well. I don't see what you mean "Far Superior to any DC comic Movie" are you talking about the movies that were made in the 90s? When all the movies for the DC League is remade, then you can say such a thing.

Avengers:
Thor was Good? = 77% on Rotten Tomatoes
Captain America = 78%
Iron Man= 74%
The Hulk (With Edward Norton)=66% but Edward Norton isn't in this movie.
------------
The Dark Knight= 94% on Rotten Tomatoes
Superma(1978)=94%
If I compared more justice league movies I'd make the Avengers movies look like shite.

All fairly good movies with Iron Man and Captain America borderline great. What Marvel has done is build a pretty good franchise ahead. They were COMMITTED to world building, which is the only way to go about this.
As it stands, Batman and GL are so far part in style and tone, it would never work.
quote:
The Batman - Bale would never work, neither would Nolan's style. Not in the kind of giant film this would have to be.
Green Lantern - Sucked. Not completely terrible, but bad enough.
Superman - Singer's Superman? Worse than Green Lantern. New Superman... yet to be seen.
The Flash - Deserves his own damn film
Wonder Woman - Did you ever see the stuff from the never released NBC show? Awful. WW cannot work in our PC environment. The changes to the character were insulting to her legacy. ONLY because people try to pigeonhole her.
Aquaman - Would also make a good film
Martian Manhunter - Not sure if he could support his own film

I want them to recast the damn GL already, Ryan Reynolds trashed it.

Actually Reynolds wasn't bad, but the movie's style and writing was terrible.
Stewart would be awesome as would Raynor or Gardner. Hell, they need a Corps movie in and of itself. But JL might be TOO big to support a film. Avengers has just the right size of team.

Have you seen any of the Marvel movies or just going by RT ratings?

I saw them all so far, Captain America was pretty boring, Thor could've been better, Edward Norton shouldn't have been removed from the Hulk Role, he was a solid character.
Imagine putting these guys all in the same room without the super powers but just with their acting abilities? Maybe then you might see how boring it could just be.

JERRY: (cont) and this whole justice league, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman. You mean to tell me Superman can't cover everything?
FULTON: (still laughing and coughing) Stop.
JERRY: For crying out loud, He's Superman. (Fulton stops laughing, Jerry's face is stunned) Fulton? (looks at him) Fulton?

So you're saying Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans suck as actors? You haven't even seen Mark Ruffalo play Banner yet to have an opinion and he's a pretty good actor.

It all comes down to story lines and directors.
Which superman would you rather? Donner or Singer?
The story lines for the marvel movies have been decent, some bordering on good/great.
Using anything Josh Whedon touches turns to gold. I can't wait to see what he does with the movie.
