Its obvious a lot of u have never played the game even in pop Warner. Some times it is not the QB's fault. The receiver either gives up on the play or runs the wrong route. I have always said the QB gets too much credit when we win & too much blame when we lose. THE TEAM THE TEAM THE TEAM!

quote:we don't run a complicated passing system, so wr's running the wrong route isn't as applicable to us as it is to say, Oklahoma our passing system consists of levels schemes. There aren't many, if any true read routes until we get to the goal line and use those 1 WR routes. INTs when the ball is tipped, whether at the line or by the wr, when the qb launches a jump ball on 4th down and the CB wants it more than the WR, or the rare miscommunication isn't on the qb, but throwing two INT's both into double bracketed coverage is on the qb.

I played QB and agree with you. It can also be argued that the safety isn't solely on JJ. Everyone thinks the game is so easy watching on TV. TIGRLEE stated earlier that Wright missed the check(which he did) but OBJ in the same game pulled up on his slant route causing JJ's pass to look bad. I just wish the same critique would apply to both QB's. On this board that isn't the case. Had JL thrown the bomb to shephard inbstead of JJ the board would have been full of threads stating how bad a wr RS is but no since JJ threw it the threads were that JJ can't throw the deep ball. Against Auburn posters were actually calling JJ's long TD to RR a bad pass b/c it had a flat trajectory
