Any thought to if he might get drafted? How he might do?

I love it when backups at LSU end up playing in the NFL. It really speaks to how deep we are as a program. I think that Brooks might have a shot to make it.

He will definitely get looked at. He certainly has the talent to make an NFL roster.

I think he will get drafted. Size isn't a factor either, hell look at the Saints CB's.

In that case speed isn't a factor either, lol.

Danny McCray has been a valuable special teams player for Dallas, so I see no reason why Ron Brooks can't make an impact for a few seasons.

Well, they do.

He played a great game, but he also dropped the game clincher in the endzone that hit him in the hands and the face. Disputing that he has good hands would make you look like a fricking moron.

He should definitely get drafted. He has the height, maybe just gain 10 pounds. Strength and speed are also there. Pound for pound he is almost as strong as Ford. At the very least he could be a great ST player or solid backup and nickle corner.

From what I hear if he has a good combine (he should have a great one) then he's looking at a later round pick. I think he definately makes a squad. Hell I hope the saints can grab him in the 6 or 7th round.

If Chris Hawkins can make a roster, he should be able to.

I have felt like he is a better player then tyran, especially as of late. Obviously the coaches think different and i don't really know enough to have an opinion.

Tyrann is a turnover machine and a playmaker. Brooks is faster and bigger and better in coverage. I think who should play just depends on what we're wanting to get out of the defense at the moment.

This is why I like him more. Tyrans turnovers are no guarantee, and I would rather someone in the nickel that is a bit taller/faster and can cover a bit better. He is stronger and been around longer.

Besides, when he is in nickle, he can have the same effect. Also, opponents are very mindful of tyran. He has not been having the same effect on turnovers as of late

What roster is Chris Hawkins on?

Brooks will work out great. He'll be drafted IMO. He's prob should have played more at LSU truthfully

Yeah, they block him when he blitzes from the side with RB and avoid the flat where he is hanging out. But doesn't that shrink the field for them?

I think no doubt Brooks should be in a lot of the time though.
