His quote on the news was, "Jefferson is now entrenched as the starter." How the frick does Ch.9 allow this shite to keep going on with him?

LSU going to the Rose Bowl as well.
I wonder when Baton Rouge will ever realize that Cauble's crew is the best in the buz when it comes to LSU in BR.

No where near as bad as those two fricking hacks calling the game last night.
It was horrible.
It was horrible.

We have no reason to believe this isn't true. I'd be very surprised if we see Lee get any significant playing time (unless we are in a big hole and need to try to throw it downfield) the rest of the year.

Channel 9 news, as a whole, is a tabloid-type production.

I guess no one heard Brian Griese gushing last night...

He's just saying what many suspect.
Whether he knows for sure is another issue, though....

Worst reporter in the city. Just absolutely unbearable.

It has a ring of credibility to it. Why would anyone think otherwise?
There was perceptible reason to have JJ start last night. Lee's body of work thus far certainly wouldn't indicate that he had done anything to lose the job.
Miles has what he wants: JJ as starter. Time will only tell if it is the right decision. With this defense it may not matter.

I despise Jaques Doucet with the energy of 1,000 suns. He has consistently fricked almost any story regarding LSU football that requires anything beyond reading the box score.

I cant wait till JL starts next week to put all this crap to rest

I do not like to hear him give the Sports News at all. Now, I do have a choice to change the channel but, I do not.
Now to the reason for the post and that of the QB situation. This is just my thoughts and feelings on what is going on.
I believe that Miles could not waite to get JJ back into the starting roll. JL threw 2 int's against Bama and he only saw 11 snaps in the whole game that night. Once JJ went into the game at Bama after that 2nd int JJ became the starter and JL did not see the field until the 4th quarter of last night's game. To JL that drive was his moral booster because Miles did not give him another chance to correct his problem that night.
I honestly feel that JJ will be the starter in the next 2 games and depending on what happens in those 2 games will determine if JJ will remain the starter. Miles does not see this as a QB controversy he just sees it as doing what he feels he needs to do regardless of how anyone else does about it.
My feelings are that JL should have never been pulled as the starter. He should have started the game and then depending on the amount of lead let JJ get his playing time in then. Miles showed exactly what his intentions where all along and he will do it the way he wants and I do believe JJ will be the QB from here on out with JL getting in only if LSU has put the game away. Miles is scared to death that if JL goes into the game he will throw LSU out of the game. He treats those ints the same way as he does fumbles with the RBs. They fumble they are pulled. That is what happened to JL.

Is there any reason to believe JJ won't be the starter? He was the starter until legal troubles forced him into suspension. JL did great when he did to lead the team to an 8-0 record, but when he needed to perform on the biggest stage, he reverted to his old ways. JJ had to come in and bail JL out of trouble. I like JL, but it is what it is.
