St. Charles will be very hard to beat.

their Maxpreps site

In the regular season St. Charles out scored their opponents 475-43.

That's an average game score of 47.5-4.3.

Six of the teams they played didn't score a point.

They gave up 4.5 fewer points the whole season than they scored per game!

Edited to add:

Not so fast......

Brusly and Port Allen are the only two teams they played who had winning seasons. Two of the teams they played went 0-10.

I want that schedule next year!

Paterson and St. Charles should be a good matchup. Patterson only played one team with a winning record in the regular season.

I am from North Louisiana and have been wondering how Farmerville got the #1 seed.

They played six teams with winning records and seven that made the playoffs. Their only loss was to a 5A playoff team. They beat a 4A team that had a losing record but still made the playoffs.

Because they were moving up from 2A, their coach scheduled a pre-conference schedule of tough teams to get them ready for 3A. Mission accomplished!

Please let me know if there are other players that need to be mentioned. I will be glad to edit the post to reflect more players.

I used Rivals this week instead of Scout because someone complained one week when I used Scout. Since then I've been trying to alternate them.

SCC beat the brakes off of Patterson. Really solid defense and a lot of heart on offense.

This is also true. I'm not so sure they wouldn't have won 2a this year.
