First, I love to read Dandy Don. I read it before I read the Rant each morning. However, I had to laugh at this comment:
Looks like we are rekindling our reduction in penalties or commuting his sentence. Sorry, I know mistakes are easy to make (I probably have some in this post), but it is still funny. I hope everyone can laugh at their own mistakes as well.
Thanks to Dandy Don for all he does for LSU sports. Also wishing him continued recovery with his health.

Speaking of recruiting, I have learned that LSU has rekindled commutation with Winnfield star athlete Alonzo Moore (ATH, 6'2", 182)

you're a dick for posting something about a man who is fighting a deadly disease and also who lost his wife to cancer a year ago.

isn't his son updating the site now anyway?

I think his son is doing it. Please understand this is not meant to slight him or be critical. I consider Don Long a great friend, especially a friend to all LSU fans everywhere. Humor is the best medicine in my opinion.

His wife did not die from cancer.

There are many instances when this is acceptable, but when your wife died recently and you're battling cancer, it's extremely innapropriate.

This is what people rant about? Come on man give Dandy a break the man has enough troubles.
