That could really be said by anyone who just got their asses handed to them.

It has been... By literally every team we have played.

They've created a new term: "Unloss". The apparent definition is something other than a loss, but short of an actual win.

Bama didnt lose. They just had the least amount of points when the game ended.

Had Alabama won 9 to 6 in OT would there be this much talk about a rematch? Maybe but I think not, but let us not get the cart before the horse. I think in the last four years we are 2 and 2 with Ole Miss and 1 and 3 against Arkansas. There is still work to be done.

Typically in football, unlike bseball and basketball, the winner is determined by one game, not a series. If Bama wants a "redo" then it should be the best 2 of 3, or best of 4 of 7. If we play them again this season - if they were to win we would be at a tie and need a third game to determine the winner. How crazy is that. Bama should just give the traditional common loser's
shout out: "Wait till next year" (we'll beat you then)

All the ones that have brought up the topic and used the excuse that they "beat themselves" are unbearable. I just say to them "Too bad moral victories don't go down as a "W" in the record books". Piss on em'.

If you don't think LSU fans wouldn't be angling for a rematch if the tables were turned, you are c-r-a-z-y! The only better argument we would have is that it was on the road.

Pretty f'ing big argument!

& and beating BAMA twice in one season would wreck their program for a number of years.

TheDoc you are absolutely right. No one can except they lost, not even the media who picked them too win.

We were 4 or 5 point underdogs and we not only beat that odds makers, but we WON the game.

I don't remember LSU fans begging for a rematch against any team in the west in a single season ever.

It was that way in 2003 when LSU beat UGA the first time in BR. UGA fans could not accept that LSU beat their Dawgs. It's the same thing in this case, the Tide Nation can't accept this loss - it's a grief reaction, clinical denial. Truly their little Crimson hearts are broken...

well at least we settled uga's doubts when we throttled them in the sec cg later in the year.
