what did he do other than dump the ball to Richardson on two busted plays?

He missed Richardson on a wheel route when someone was actually covering him in OT.

He threw the pick that got LSU deep in to Bama territory. Whoever said that was a spectacular play by Mo...yeah, it was a good catch.....but Mo had already read the play and broke on the pass. Anyone on the field could have made that pick.

The sack in OT that basically took them out of FG range.

People can look at numbers all they want, but everyone here knows there is more to QB play than just numbers.

I thought McCarron looked very comfortable running the Alabama offense against the best defense in the nation (unlike our deer-in-the headlights 5th year senior). Sure he missed a few open receivers- the "major cog" in the Alabama offense was our defense, not McCarron. Did Saban have to yank McCarron and put in Simms for any reason?
