FB said yesterday if McCarron was on the LSU sideline he would be toting the clipboard!

Since he I younger, yes. Mett is more talented than him but I would think he would start when mett leaves.

Considering it was McCarron's 1st time on big stage in a 1-2 matchup, I thought he played fairly well. I had hoped he would choke. His 1 pick was really due to a spectacular grab by Mo -- compared to Lee's 2 picks. No one can say McC's play was the reason for Bama's loss. Finebaum is off target here.

This is a bit of a stretch. McCarron is not bad for a first year starter. I think he'll be pretty good over the next two seasons. He could easily be as good as GMac was.
