FInebaum on McCarron- a clipboard QB! if at LSU

I don't really get his trashing of McCarron at all.

Considering it was McCarron's 1st time on big stage in a 1-2 matchup, I thought he played fairly well. I had hoped he would choke. His 1 pick was really due to a spectacular grab by Mo -- compared to Lee's 2 picks. No one can say McC's play was the reason for Bama's loss. Finebaum is off target here.

That's his way of getting his bama brothers to call in since they were absent yesterday.

This is a bit of a stretch. McCarron is not bad for a first year starter. I think he'll be pretty good over the next two seasons. He could easily be as good as GMac was.
