Apparently, even after the 2002 incident in which an assistant witnessed the rape of a young boy in the locker room showers, Sandusky was still welcome around the facilities. Allegedly he was working out at the facilities as recently as last week and there was a situation relayed on the radio about him bringing a kid around football practice in 2007.
How in the frick can McQueary and Paterno just watch that guy bring a kid around the team after what they knew and not do a damn thing about it?

Had i been that assistant who found him in the act...I would have beat him to death with the nearest blunt object.

You know the thought that passed through Paterno's mind when he saw Jerry was that he was using the FB facilities to break that kid down. And still let it continue. WOW
