I don't know about all of them but for some folks, when they idolize Star Athletes they are insecure enough that they love the fact that the stars have a weakness or a vice.
E.g. Tiger Woods and his mistress - what the frick does it have to do with his game? Why bother?

Similarly Tyrann is a fireball of talent and his coach and teammates and all fans know that. These rantard folks like to be holier than thou to just feel happy that maybe they are better in a minute teensy way because they are not trash talkers.

It doesn't mean they hate him or don't admire his play - just that it makes them feel a bit better about themselves.
