Do you tip if you get take out from a restaurant?

I only didn't tip once when getting take out at a restaurant and felt bad.

I do. Not the normal amount, just usually a buck or 2.

Depends on the restaurant and the situation. I have some mom and pop places by my house where I'm damn sure going to tip the lady who takes my order and bags my food.
If I sit down at the local bar and grill and order a to go meal, yes I'm going to tip.
These are people I see all of the time and they take care of me.
And no, I don't tip at mcdonalds, taco bell, or the gas station before the smartasses chime in.
