Definitely a 3-4 personnel wise, but schematically hard to classify.
Usually, a 3-4 could be susceptible to a power running game, which we have. From what I can tell, Saban has been getting his bodies closer to the point of attack, and steadily creeping closer as they become comfortable.
Very important we stretch the field. We waited until the fourth quarter to attempt to stretch the field with Miss. St., and we have progressively opened it up earlier as the season has progressed.
We waited until the second half versus Bama last year, and I'm guessing we won't sit tight in this one. Bama has given cushion early all season, and it has shown in many of their slow starts, so I expect to see us try to establish the run first. But, no way we wait until halftime to take a shot, especially with good field position.
