Well, if your correct, it will probably mean we did a great job of shutting down the run, and forcing the pass.
I hope you're right.
But, it is more likely that Mingo doesn't see the field on first downs, and obvious running downs. For every advantage his speed gives him, he is a liability versus the power running game, and I would expect Alabama to run right at him, if given the opportunity.
Now, I do think Chavis will be aware of this, and possibly leave Mingo in to draw the run on some occasions, loading that side with a safety blitz from time to time. But, I don't see Mingo winning any helmet to helmet battles against Bama's run game to his side.
