As much as we make fun of the "gumps", I really do believe that the one guy that poisoned the trees at Auburn is just a "bad apple" and even the Alabama fans were embarrassed by the guy. Our oaks are safe.

Any renewed concern for this after Bama beat themselves and we were the beneficiary of their loss and after the "HB7 is a thug" sentiment? I doubt the Updye-types in Gumpland ever cross state lines, but just saying.

Agreed he was an outlier/bad apple and the fans are overwhelmingly embarrassed by this action. That said, it only takes one. We need vigilance.
