can you comment on Texas without using the words "could", "may", "might", "possibly" and "maybe"?

We're talking about hypothetical match-ups, correct? Using the terms "could", "may" is the only appropriate way to approach a hypothetical because you simply cannot know for certain the outcome.

It's like saying that if LSU played Stanford tomorrow, Andrew Luck would be sacked 15 times. That might happen, but it's not a certainty.

I simply said that the Horns defense, offense, and QB play is not better than last years with what they have done to date. Not hypothetical they are either worse or equal to last year’s team in terms of performance.

You are the one that said they "could" improve as the season goes on. Given what they have done to date I have no reason to believe they will make this jump. At least not until bowl season with the extra practices (if they make it to one).

We are talking about the state of texas football right now (re: shambles). We already know they've struggled to beat average teams THIS year, and they have shown nothing to indicate their fortunes will change against teams they lost to last year (i.e., Baylor, whom you have a hard time believing texas will lose to again).

We DO know this with certainty--texas football was garbage in 2010, and it's looking like more of the same in 2011 so far.
