No I don't want to fricking pre-order anything. I told you that the 1st time yet you ask me 3 more fricking times after I have said NO every single time. I don't give a flying frick about about a free fricking sword on that cum guzzler Zelda. I don't even like that fantasy bullshite.

Just ring my shite up so I can be on my way.

Dude was pissed at me because I wouldn't pre-order another game. Do they get some kind of bonus for getting people to pre-order?

Ya know, I used to get mad at that too. Then when a game came out I wanted, I wished I would preordered it for the preorder bonuses.

So now I just preorder a new game everytime

And its their job to ask. I'm sure gamestop could find any mouthbreather to ring videogames up... They need ppl to sell their shite as well. probably a competitive job market (lot of unemployed college gamers)... They are required to hound you

You sure? You could put five bucks down and if you change your mind later we could move it to a different game.

Gamestop relentlessly pursues pre-orders by asking multiple times simply because it's effective. Those little added bonuses work as well. From time to time we'll have a customer cancel a pre-order because GS is offering something that we can't offer. They are a huge billion $ corporation that is able to get special treatment from game publishers.

We have customers come in all the time complaining about GS but those are a minority. Otherwise GS would not be as successful as they are.

Take the GS on College Drive for example during a midnight launch for a big title. On many occasions their line of customers is upwards of several hundred feet long. That's the accumulation of pre-orders over a period of many months from their badgering of just about every customer that makes a purchase at their store. It's successful. That's why they do it.

I was picking up my game last night and they asked if I wanted to preorder something. I'm poor as shite, no... I don't want to preorder anything.

I think the employees are given a quota on how many pre-orders they have to sell in a given period..which is why they push them so much.

Obviously. They are just trying to sell products. It's a business. Also a lot of people prob dont know exact dates of when shite is coming out, so the guy may ask 100 diff people, and one guy goes oh yeah i forgot that was coming out and preorders it. Its a win for their store.

Same with them trying to sell you on power up rewards, or insuring ur disc for 3 years. Some people actually want that stuff.

Do you get pissed when mcdonalds ask you if you want to try their new mcshitten? Or any place for that matter is trying to sell you something even though you know ur not going to get it?
