Not sure, but it is state law that any in-state resident with a 2.0 GPA is automatically accepted at WVU. Perhaps WVU disagrees with this, but they are a public university and are thereby under obligation to follow state rules and bylaws.

That's pathetic and should be unacceptable. I know a lot of people that could not get into A&M with a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale in HS. You better be in the top 20% of your class with a over a 1200 on your SAT or 28 on your ACT if you want a chance to get into A&M or Texas
