Agreed. Probably the only reason the SWC broke up was the hated infighting among members. You would never ever find a SWC team cheering another SWC team. Talk about family feuds and it is still going on today with those who were abandoned when the breakup occurred.

Duke/UNC
Bama/Auburn
...just about every SWC school vs the other.

They all pull from the same pools of potential students & student athletes. You can have one or two blood rivals in a conference, but you can't have a whole conference of blood rivals that would openly cheer the demise of another.
