recruits at the game saw how electric it was in the 3rd quarter. After seeing us whip AU's arse like that, I'm sure the last thing they're worried about is fans leaving early in a blowout

People having been leaving games early during blowout games since I started going to them in the early 70's. I'm sure it was happening before then as well. These people saying that it's a new phenomenon occurring over the last decade are simply blowhards trying to convince themselves and others that when "they" used to attend games, it was sooooooooo much better. They were suuuuuch better fans. Don't fall for that crap.
