I'm trying really hard to not get drawn into all of the arguments over this issue, but...

I do remember having a teammate get suspended for a very similar sounding offense, but it was his first offense. And not another player on our team was ever suspended for it again in 5 years. This is all just sad, because we don't know how many players have been suspended before, Les does a great job at keeping much of this stuff out of the spotlight and he really protects his players, and it's extremely disappointing following the Shady's incident.

Just don't tell me that "Hey, everybody does it when they are 18." Cause that's not true.

the phrase doesn't imply literally everyone committed a mistake when they were younger. It simply means that a large enough sampling of peoples would have at some point early in their life made a stupid mistake. I know, as the super android college athlete that you were, this is hard for you to understand.
