This, exactly. They have the fans support, but it's the same mentality as being a parent. Parents will always support their kids but they will also be disappointed when their own kids screw up, and with disappointment often comes ridicule. Although some idiot fans are taking this WAAAYYYYYY too far.

You have zero clue what kind of stuff they're hearing and reading from random fans on twitter and FB.
Just look at this board half the time, I have no doubts that they're getting some seriously fricked up messages, and that is the reason you're seeing these responses from Beckham and landry.
Why are people so naive about this, I have no clue.
