Maybe Miles is worried about how well Lee will respond to a Bama pass rush.
Would it be safe to say that LSU's o-line has had the upper hand if not dominating every defensive front that they have faced all season long?
Do you feel confident that the o-line will have the same success vs Bama's d-line and linebackers?
We've seen the awesome Lee when given adequate to great protection and then we've seen the ugly Lee when he is under constant pressure with no time to throw and an inability to tuck and run. Jefferson having game experience and offering another way to counter a disgusting pass rush is a damn fine insurance policy if you ask me.
