Is there any reason to change LSU's dual-quarterback strategy?

Is this one of those situations where "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Or should the Tigers want 1 guy in the starter role?

Trying to make sense of LSU's quarterback situation

Was the situation before JJ came back.

It was definitely broke for the past couple of years.

Well we have some whining pussys on here that are constantly crying about it. I suppose if we went away from the 2 qb system they would shut up finally. Thats one reason right there.

We seemed to do OK those first 4 games without dual QBs. Doesn't seem necessary, but Miles is a demented genius, so who knows.

My biggest concern has been seeing the offense sputter out once Jefferson was brought in. In other words, he comes in for a series, then the offense (Lee and Jefferson) has trouble moving the ball and putting points on the board from that point on. I have seen no indications of either of these things happening, so no reason to change IMO.

I think we should all be happy that we have two senior QBs and leave it at that.

Let go of the last year scenario since its not last year, and look at how both QBs are more complete.

Watch the TN game again and what we can see is that when one formation (the I) "strategy" doesn't work as well as we like, we can quickly switch to another (O spread). I view the switch at half-time as a way that Miles and the coaches wanted to eat more clock, so they spread the O for more running lanes.

This is not last year, i think we should look at it like our running back situation where we have multiple threats.

Cant wait to AUBURN!

I, for one, want to thank you for the fix. It is a little realized, even less admitted fact, but QB controversy threads are really the crack of the Rant. This place is totally hooked on them.

Heck, I bet there were a few posters here who were about to go off into the DT's if a few more minutes had passed without a thread like this.

Oh, and for the record, the fact that you are an Oct. 2011 register with hardly any posts to your name and jump right in with this topic is not suspicious at all.

You saved some people today dude. Be proud.
